Helping more kids get Summer Camp Scholarships

The Compass Project helps kids attend summer camps regardless of the cost.

Camp means new friends and experiences. It means time away from the pressures they experience at home or school. It is a place where they feel free to grow.

More kids deserve that chance.

A project started from a real camp experience

My name David Robinson and I started The Compass Project after my own time at summer camp showed me how much camp can shape a young person’s life.

Camp helped me build confidence and become more independent. I also made friendships that stayed with me. Now, The Compass Project helps more children access camp.

Our Mission

Making camp possible for more children

For many, summer camp is more than a few weeks away from home. It's a place where they can try new things, make friends, be around older role models, and challenge themselves to see what they are capable of.

The Compass Project makes that experience a possibility for all kids and families.

We want kids to have that experience. In today's world, kids don't get many opportunities to just be children.

Our Partners & Sponsors

A summer at camp gives a child new friends and memories they will have even after they come home. It gives them the chance to experience something that could change their lives.
